TREATY OF MUTUAL RECOGNITION, FRIENDSHIP CO-OPERATION AND PEACE BETWEEN REPUBLIC OF BOBALANIA AND PROMOLANDS



Preamble
Whereas the nations of Promolands and the Republic of Bobalania have agreed to formalise a treaty of mutual understanding in diplomacy, recognition and military guarantees, hereby established.
This Act may be cited as “the Promolands and the Republic of Bobalania Treaty Act”;
The provisions of this Act referring shall extend to all successors of the one or the other mocronation;
The Act shall take effect the following day by signature.
The treaty shall be as follows:

Article I. - Diplomacy
Both nations mentioned in the Preamble of this pact shall establish respective virtual embassies on each other’s website and/or forum.
Such embassies shall be created by the webmaster or other such administrator of the website/forum, with the other party being notified of it as soon as the embassy has been completed.
Such embassies shall be where nominated representatives of each nation shall communicate with their respective nation.
Such embassies shall, where able, consist of a number of persons (Embassy Staff), who shall assist the Presidents’ nominated representative, hereby referred to as an Ambassador, in representing their nation.
The signatories to this pact shall establish official diplomatic dialogue through the embassies mentioned above.
Any conflicts of interest between the signatories to this pact shall be dealt with through dialogue between the signatories of this pact.
Where possible, all dialogue is to be handled by the Ambassador and their embassy staff.

Article II. Recognition
Both nations fully recognise each other's existence as legal and constitutional political entities with full sovereignty and independence.
Both nations recognise each other's symbols, territories, institutions and judicial classifications.

Article III. Military
It is to be emphasised that this treaty does not bind the signatories of this pact to a military alliance.
The signatories to this pact shall agree to submit to arbitration, in the event of any other signatory coming under military attack, to:
Decide whether the other nation shall assist the signatory nation being attacked militarily, militarily
Decide whether the other nation shall assist the signatory nation being attacked militarily, through any other means

Article IV. Terms of violation
The violation of any of the articles and their contents hereby written in this pact, by either nation, shall be dealt with in the following way:
All signatories of this pact are to discuss the situation through diplomatic dialogue, aforementioned in this pact, to attempt to rectify the violations of the pact with the offending nation
Failing, the pact shall be temporarily suspended until the matter is resolved
Failing, the pact shall be terminated.
Under no circumstances are such violations to be dealt with in a military manner.

Article V. Signatures
We, those signing here below, hereby agree to the terms and conditions set out by this pact, and by signing below, we understand that this pact applies to our respective nations, upon us signing below:
